Ōwairaka mural

A collaborative project with Kim Littlejohn. We got a small grant from Keep New Zealand Beautiful to design and paint this 36m² mural in Ōwairaka / Mt Albert. Resene sponsored the paint.

We chose nature from the local area, specifically the bush surrounding Te Auaunga (Oakley Crreek): a tūī, a pīwakawaka and a matuku moana (white-faced heron) as well as harakeke, whau, pōhutukawa and kōwhai.
